Committees

Name of Committee	Chairperson	Description
Scholarship Committee		This committee reviews applications submitted by our Seniors and determines who the recipients will be. Parents of Seniors may not be part of this committee.
Communications Committee	Shannyn Wentz (Interim Officer)	Volunteers of this committee work with the VP of Communications to post reminders of upcoming events on social media, take photos of events, and prepare digital newsletters.
Programs Committee	Shawna Martin	Volunteers on this committee work with the Programs Liaison Officer to plan and execute existing and proposed programs. This includes coordinating volunteers to assist with programs and events.
Membership Committee	Liz Yip	Volunteers will work with the VP of Membership to promote membership and engage volunteers.
Fundraising	Shawna Martin	Volunteers will connect with businesses to set up spirit nights and assist with fundraising efforts and events. This includes producing GMP's annual Summer Camp Fair, our largest fundraiser of the year.
Sponsorships	Shawna Martin	Volunteers will help solicits and coordinates sponsors for GMP and its activities, and ensure we fulfill each sponsor's benefits.
Nominating Committee	TBD	Constructs the slate of nominees for elected offices.
