We are in need of volunteers who can give their time and talent to the needs and interests of our GT students. Please fill out this form to share your interest and someone will contact you to help you find your best fit!

Committees
Name of Committee | Chairperson | Description |

Scholarship Committee | Board President or Appointed Board Member | Responsible for coordinating the scholarship application and selection process for GT students. Membership representation will be determined by spaces made available by PEF committee. |
Teacher Grants | Current Board Members | Responsible for soliciting, reviewing, and awarding classroom grants to PISD GT teachers and programs. The committee is comprised of all board members. |
Nominating Committee | Member of the Board | Responsible for soliciting nominations, verifying eligibility, and presenting a slate of officer candidates prior to each annual election. |
Elementary Connections | Elementary Parent (open to co-committee chairs) | Responsible for creating social connections for GT elementary students and their families through playdates. Composed of 3-5 members in good standing. |
GMP Resource Group | Former Board Member | All former board members who have been meaningfully involved in GMP are invited to participate in a resource group designed to provide insight and feedback to the existing board on GMP issues. |
Audit Committee | Appointed by Board | The GMP Audit Committee provides independent financial oversight, reviewing GMP's records annually and reporting findings to the board. Accounting experience is preferred. |
